On 11/12/2022Through the Hiwar project implemented by the Judal Organization funded by the European Union and in partnership with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and supervised by the Bridge to (UPP) organization and in coordination with the Iraqi government, Judal organization set up a workshop to present the recommendations it collected through previous workshops with young people with disabilities and women with disabilities. presenting it to the local government, discussing it, making it possible to implement these recommendations, knowing the extent of the response of local government institutions to implement these recommendations, and what can be done. Through the closing session, government agencies such as the General Directorate of Endowments and Religious Affairs pledged to spread awareness through clerics and submit an official request to the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs to include the issue of people with disabilities and people with special needs within the unified Friday sermon in the Kurdistan region, and the General Directorate of Traffic pledged to pay attention to parking places Persons with disabilities more and educate his staff on how to deal with people with disabilities, whether in the streets or in the traffic department for auditors Jiudal decided to follow up on the implementation of these recommendations by the local government even after the end of the project.
